I am using Foxit for dealing with PDF files it is faster than adobe plus it consumes less memory, and it is giving me the same functionality.
I am in loved with Acrobat Pro 9, it does everything it is needed, plus it allows me to disable printing options for my documents.
We are using Adobe Professional 9 at home and I think it is the best PDF creator, unfortunately it consumes more memory than it is needed.
I agree with Saby that Foxit reader is easier to manage, but it gives you less possibilities than Acrobat Professional, so first of all before buying a product you should analyze what for do you need it.
