Now for the dreamweaver tip for all of the web designers and newbies out there…
Its important to name your new web pages within the title tags. It will ultimately show in the user’s browser and will help to identify your site on the search engines.
The Dreamweaver CS4: The Missing Manual
talks about how to add titles from the Modify Page Properties menu to your dreamweaver pages on page 55 and even in the Dreamweaver CS3: The Missing Manual version. This is the way I’ve been naming my pages for the longest. However, I’m about to share a faster way that was pointed out by my son.
There’s a input box for the title in the document window toolbar. Just enter the title into the Title text box as shown in the borrow money page pictured below.
