I use statcounter.com to track hits on this site. Statcounter.com provides a graphical view and many other features.  There’s even a cool keyword analyisis capability that lets me see the Adobe-Masters.com hits for “dreamweaver page counter”, adobe dreamweaver “hit counter”, “ADOBE CS3 free web hit counter”, and “hit counter for phpbb3“.

There are many free tracking services other than statcounter that are available to you.  Take your pick at the google directory.

Setting Up Your Page Counter

Here’s the best tip for setting up your page counter.  Simply login into statcounter.com (or your tracking site of choice) and follow their setup instructions for your site.  See the how to setup your statcounter.com page counter video now.  After properly setting up your account you’ll get your “hit counting code”.

Add Page Trackers to Dreamweaver Pages

Great, the folks at ToolBarCounter already showed how to insert the “hit counting code” into Adobe Dreamweaver so I don’t have to post a step by step guide here.

However, Adding a hit counter to your dreamwever page is very easy…

Open Dreamweaver, then copy and paste the “hit counting code” into the Code section, click here for help.  You’ll find the code section after clicking View -> Code.

Don’t forget to subscribe for free site updates.

Here’s a totally un-related web design video if your interested.
