Discover Financial Services just sent an announcement on how they are expanding their product offerings to include an escape card. The new Escape Card from Discover was introduced to its affiliates yesterday.   Its an  Airline Rewards Card with Enhanced Travel Benefits and appears to be beneficial to people who are on the go.  This product is just as good as the $50 cash back card from our previous tutorial.

Get Escape by Discover Card - Changing Dreamweaver Fonts Tutorial

We’ve covered quite a few dreamweaver topics and we’ve examined many dreamweaver templates here at adobe-masters.com, but never have we edited any fonts in dreamweaver.   Each sample page is filled with the default verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif text.  Today, the escape card template will serve as the changing dreamweaver fonts example.

Please note that you can use the same 10 free fonts that were uploaded for photoshop a couple of days ago.  If you’ve followed the tutorial all the way through, you’ll be able to use those fonts in dreamweaver too.

Janine C. Warner graced us with the Teach Yourself Visually Dreamweaver CS4 book in addittion to the Dreamweaver CS4 For Dummies.  Its a full color book with step by step screenshots for beginners.  Page 70-73 talks about how to change the font face in great detail.

If you’re looking for something quick, here’s a concept I came up with…

Click Modify > Page Properties > and Edit Font List in the Page Font drop down. Select a font from the available fonts, then move it to the chosen font list, and hit the okay button.  Your selection should now appear in the drop down page font for the appearance.  Just find it there and select it.  This process changes the font throughout the site.  To change a specific text, select it, then goto Text > Font for the edit.
