If you’re using a premade dreamweaver template or making an affiliate template in dreamweaver from scratch,  make sure it contains a spot for meta keywords.  Listing keywords on your pages is good for search engine optimization.  Keywords, like tags, get crawled all the time, and that makes it easy for web searchers to find your page.

Coming Up With Keywords

Inserting keywords into dreamweaver is not a hard thing to do.  Most of your time may be spent thinking of the keywords themselves.  Here’s a keyword suggestion tool from SEOBook that can help.  Here’s how it works.  Let’s say you have a grow longer nails website.  If you type in “nails”, the tool will suggest keywords such as long nails, grow nails, nail hardeners, nine inch nails, and nail art designs.  What are the suggested keywords for your website?  See for yourself.

However, I highly recommend the statcounter free keyword analysis tool.
