How to Insert Adsense Into PHPBB3 Theme, Dreamweaver Assist

I decided to check out the Website Babble forum to see what the hot topics were. There was a phpbb and adsense related question so I thought I’d write a quick post on How to Insert Adsense Into A PHPBB3 Theme.

How to Insert Adsense Into PHPBB3 Theme

I set up the YTBCelebs Forum some time ago so I’ll use it for this example. The YTBCelebs Forum is using the LightPortal style template from phpbbegypt.com.

If you visit the forum, you’ll notice adsense on the left sidebar.

After logging into the Administrator Control Panel, goto Styles > Template > Edit. Choose the overall_header.html file. For this particular template, you can simply insert adsense towards the end of the file directly after…

Dreamweaver Assistance
Other templates may be coded differently, and you may need to edit some other file within the template.

I’d recommended pasting the html into the code section of Adobe Dreamweaver for newbies that may want a better design visual for spotting various code locations.
