There’s a cool creating website screenshots and thumbnails tutorial over at entheosweb.com that describes how we can use Adobe Fireworks to make screenshots.
Comparing Fireworks and Photosop. Up until now I’ve been using photoshop to create screenshots via the default size, paste, and free transform, but now I may switch over to fireworks instead for better visibility and simplicity. I was able to create the points screenshot in fireworks with a paste, crop (available in the edit menu), and copy to a new file before the save. The adobe fireworks output for the screenshot shows better, and most of all, Adobe Fireworks is less costly when compared to photoshop.
