How to Save, Convert Illustrator AI Images for Dreamweaver

We’ll use the same type method we used on the How to Add Horizontal Menu with Button Images, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Photoshop tutorial…
Here’s how to get it done. Save your icon as rssicon.ai in illustrator. Then open Adobe Photoshop. In Photoshop choose File > Open, and select rssicon.ai to open it in Photoshop. An import box will appear, just click okay.
Resize and Save to Convert
Now the new icon is in Photoshop, but its huge! I had to resize the icon to 250px for both the height and width. Hopefully that will work, or I’ll edit the size it as needed. Alternatively, you can size your image at the Import PDF window.
To convert the image, simply save the image using Photoshop. You’ll want to save it in CompuServe GIF, JPEG, or PNG format if you plan on using the image on a website or in Dreamweaver.
