Making A Banner Ad, Free 125×125 Banner Template - Download - Banner Exchange

I joined a new 125 banner exchange. Its a site where users can upload their banners that are size 125 pixels to exchange website traffic with other webmasters.  Actually, the 125 banner exchange system will place your banner ad on other blogs.  When you register, your account is automatically credited with 5,000 banner ad impressions.

After signing up and finding out what the site is all about, I realized that I didn’t have a banner to upload for this site. That’s when I started to make a banner for more website traffic. Have you a banner ad? If not, keep reading for a “how-to” and even a free banner template that you may click to download.

Here’s what I came up with…

I created this banner with  Adobe Photoshop by first using the shape tool to drag out a rounded rectangle. The banner includes two (2) rectangles with brown strokes with text, and my logo layer.  The brown strokes are outlines.  The logo layer was established by selecting all layers in my logo file and clicking “Copy Merge” in the “Edit” menu.   It was pasted into the 125 banner file as a new layer.  Feel free to use the exact PSD working file as a free 125×125 banner - photoshop template download.

    Nice article, in that respect, if you are interested in free banner exchange with lots of other websites, blogs, etc, check out http://www.admatchup.com. I’ve developed it totally out of interest and it is completely free.
