I found an excellent tutorial at Schwippy.com on Making Thumbnails Automatically in Photoshop. The tutorial is well written and explained well. I was able to follow the tutorial easily and my image batch was resized in about fifteen minutes after setting up the Action Script Pallet.
Basically, you’ll set up a process in Photoshop to get your photos, resize them, and save them as thumbnails. It is accomplished by visiting Windows > Actions to record the process. Then head over to File > Automate > Batch to make it happen.
