How to Add A MP3 Music Player to A SBI SiteSell Page

I used the Create a AS3 MP3 Player with papervision3d spectrum display tutorial files to make the player. The techlabs partners made the play blue and green by default. However, they are very clear on how to change the color using color hex values or color codes. I happened to change the color to red and a few shades of gray as shown below.

Step One:  Editing the Flash File for A ReCompile  

Start by opening the flash document with Adobe Flash.  Go to the Windows menu to pull out the Actions.  Find the “so-deep.ram2000.mp3″ peice and change it to “media-files/so-deep.ram2000.mp3″ so that the file is properly located on your SBI server.  Refer back to the techlabs.com link for understanding. Feel free to edit the color codes. Then save and publish.

Step Two:  Upload Your Supporting Files 

You’ll need to upload the pv3d-spectrum1.swf file into the SBI Site Central.  Just look for the “Special File Manager” button.  Go ahead and upload your music file too.  In this case its the so-deep.ram2000.mp3 file.

Step Three:  Editing the HTML File 

There are four edits that should be made within the your html to properly display the flash music player.   SBI words what we are doing in this step as “relative-reference” your files and images.   We are simply providing our files and images location.  Adobe Dreamweaver is a good software for these modification edits.

Change “AC_RunActiveContent.js” to “support-files/ac_runactivecontent.js”

Change ’src’, ‘pv3d-spectrum’ to ’src’, ’support-files/pv3d-spectrum’

Change ‘movie’, ‘pv3d-spectrum’ to ‘movie’, ’support-files/pv3d-spectrum’

Change src=”pv3d-spectrum.swf to src=”support-files/pv3d-spectrum.swf
